xBook in general

xBook is a software system owned and developed by Adxto Solutions Pte Ltd. It is an application currently used in many different countries around the world, supporting a wide range of patient treatment adherence programs. The system serves as a tool for quality assurance and contributes to enhancing the overall patient care efficiency as well as treatment accuracy and effectiveness.

xBook is a CE-approved secure access web based system with configurable user rights for different job roles and with a complete audit trail to track all activities in the system.

On a practical level, xBook guides the various system users such as nurses, doctors, administrators and patients through tasks. In parallel to the tasks being carried out, vital treatment and patient data is captured in the xBook system. This data, collected along the treatment program’s work flow and patient waypoints, can be used for extracting detailed statistics and reports and furthermore filtered according to different user level requirements and to the organization’s management needs. The statistics will help the organizations establish best practices and streamline and structure their work flow with clearly defined responsibilities for different job roles, all the while putting the patients’ needs first.

Has been specifically developed to suit pharmaceutical companies’ demands and focuses on medical adherence and pharmacologic statistics and evaluation of pharmaceuticals used in real life scenarios. Depending on the customer requirements, there are three different complexity levels of xBook: Pharma Light, Medium and Complex.

xBook Care

Is typically based on a specific treatment program for a patient group specific disease or other condition that requires long-term monitoring and follow-up from care givers such as clinics and hospitals, whereof medical adherence is just one parameter of many being monitored. All xBook Care programs are by nature quite complex and normally require a pre study to be carried out in order to understand the customer requirements in detail.

Is an xBook tool created to be used in clinical trials that span over long time periods and across many countries. xBook eCFR offers system features for patient data registration and queries, efficiently filtering information according to different user levels within the clinical trial organization and providing safe data storage solutions according to the customer’s requirements
